The highly anticipated JAECOO J7 officially begins accepting registrations from 10 April 2024 onwards. Fans of the premium off-road SUV can lock-in their interest at the JAECOO Premier Experience roadshow located at 1Utama Shopping Centre (Level LG, Highstreet) or via the official JAECOO Malaysia website.
“The public’s consistent interest in anticipation of the J7, following two successful roadshows, has been very encouraging that we are so excited to begin accepting registration of interest. We believe JAECOO Malaysia is bringing diversity to the SUV market, especially with the J7 being a strong challenger in the C-segment SUV market, which consumers in Malaysia appreciate. Furthermore, our strategy to deliver a high level of technology advancements, in a premium manner and at a competitive price point addresses the current need in the market,” said JAECOO Malaysia President, Leo Chen.
Following growing public interest, JAECOO Malaysia has teased fans with a price tag for the J7 estimated to be below RM200,000. The maiden model comes in two variants, namely the JAECOO J7 All-Wheel Drive (AWD) estimated at RM160,000 and the JAECOO J7 Two-wheel Drive (2WD) estimated at RM150,000. Customers will have an option of four colours, comprising Moonlight Silver, Carbon Crystal Black, Khaki White and Model Green.
Based on the volume of registrations, delivery of orders are anticipated to begin in the third quarter of this year. Additionally, interested customers can look forward to test driving the J7 in May.
