Reyoung Bio secures Exclusive Distribution Rights to jointly establish JBP Centre in Malaysia

Malaysian healthcare company Reyoung Bio Sdn Bhd (“RBSB”) has partnered with Japan Bio Products Co., Ltd. (“JBP”) to obtain exclusive product distribution rights in Malaysia. They have also jointly established the first JBP Centre in Selangor, Malaysia — “Gingkyo”, to provide professional healthcare services to the people and to promote the development of healthcare tourism in the country.

RBSB and JBP held the opening and Memorandum of Agreement (“MoA”) signing ceremony for the JBP Centre in Petaling Jaya this morning, attracting several representatives from the government and the private sector, as well as well-known local artists and Key Opinion Leaders (“KOLs”).

“This collaboration with RBSB is a significant milestone for us and we are delighted to bring JBP’s quality products and services to Malaysia, thereby enhancing the economic output of the healthcare sector in both countries,” said Mr. Frank Hong Seok Lim, CEO of JBP, at the opening and MoA signing ceremony.

Mr. Stephen Wong King Siong, Chairman of Reyoung Group, said: “Malaysia is expected to receive over US$30 billion in foreign direct investment (“FDI”) from Japan this year. I am pleased that this cooperation will benefit both countries and bring about an investment of approximately RM1 billion.”

“JBP’s products and services are loved and respected by the people of the country. Obtaining exclusive distribution rights for JBP’s products will enable more individuals to purchase quality products from the right channels,” said Ms. Belle Lim Chiew Har, CEO of Reyoung Group.

According to records from the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry, Japan has been Malaysia’s fourth-largest trading partner for eight consecutive years since 2015.
