The SYOK and My Astro apps are now accessible to more than 930k Ultra and Ulti Box users. With these new additions, Astro customers will get access to up to 14 premium apps in total. The Astro Box now provides the best of both streaming entertainment and high-quality radio streaming, news, articles, videos, podcasts, contests, and traffic updates, as well as seamless subscription management. SYOK is a local lifestyle and entertainment app, created by Malaysians for Malaysians. Meanwhile, My Astro is an easy-to-use portal that helps Astro customers to manage their Astro accounts.
In addition to all Astro Radio’s brands, customers will also be able to enjoy over 60 online radio stations on the Box offering extensive variety and compilation of music which offers listeners their favourite music genres and categories across languages including ballads, classics, acoustic music, dance music, workout music, K-pop, hip-hop, favourites from the 70s, 80s and 90s, rock, Jiwang, Cintan, Nasyid, Arabic, Bollywood songs, Irama Malaysia, Dangdut and more. Customers can also access more than 360 podcasts in Bahasa Melayu, English, Chinese and Tamil including popular and award-winning favourites, Life Confession, Sembang Atas Dulang, Selebriti Podcast featuring celebrities such as Ziana Zain, Dato’ Sheila Majid, Moon Parenting Tips, Master Kong Paranormal Cases, Raagavil Marma Desam, Pei Diary with Lingkesvaran, and many more.
After listening to our customers’ feedback, we have also enabled seamless subscription management with My Astro which allows Ultra and Ulti Box customers to directly access the app on their TV, in addition to their mobile devices. Customers can now simply click on “My Astro” under the apps rails at their box home page to view account details or change/update their subscription.
