Petaling Jaya (17 May 2017) — Chevron Malaysia Limited, which markets the Caltex brand, today announced the launch of its ‘True Power from Within’ promotion in conjunction with the 10th Anniversary of the popular blockbuster movie, Transformers for the upcoming release of Transformers: The Last Knight.

During the promotion period until 31 July 2017, consumers and fans of the franchise can power up their journeys by purchasing selected Havoline®, Delo® and Techron® products to be part of exciting contests and stand a chance to win prizes including Vespa scooters, exclusive Transformers premiums, StarCash, shopping vouchers and promotional monthly lucky draws. Loyal members of the Caltex JOURNEY™ Card and B Infinite Card are entitled to special draws and a chance to win up to 2,000,000 BPoints.

Caltex’s range of engine oils and fuels is designed to shield the engine performance from harmful deposits and protect the vehicle from within.

With Caltex offering both fuels and engine lubricants that promise high performance, there will be two campaigns running consecutively during its “True Power from Within” promotion period, further complementing its commitment to offer customers more rewards.


Caltex ‘True Power from Within’ Promotion: Lubricants

From now till 31 July 2017, customers who purchase selected products within the Havoline®, Delo® and Techron® Concentrate Plus range from participating Caltex stations and workshops will receive an exclusive movie premium (polo shirt, T-shirt or microfibre towel depending on product purchased) in a promotional box set.

Stand a chance to also win lucky draw prizes which includes 5 Bose® Bluetooth speakers and 10 shopping vouchers valued at RM200 each, with the grand prize being a Vespa® LT150 scooter. The lucky draw will be held on 16 August 2017 and the lucky winners will be published on the campaign website (www.caltextruepower.com).


Caltex ‘True Power from Within’ Promotion: Fuels

Running from 22 May 2017 to 31 July 2017, a minimum purchase of RM50 worth of Caltex with Techron® fuel offers customers a chance to take part in a lucky draw and stand a chance to win Vespa scooters, StarCash and even bonus BPoints for Caltex JOURNEY™ Card and B Infinite members who use their loyalty cards to purchase any Caltex petrol or diesel at stations nationwide.

There will be two lucky draws, held on the following dates, along with the corresponding prizes:


Customers who purchase a minimum RM50 worth of Caltex with Techron® fuel during this promotion period at Caltex stations nationwide will receive a free Transformers Tissue Box whilst stocks last. From 15 June 2017 onwards, customers who fuel up with a minimum RM50 petrol or diesel purchase will also be entitled to purchase an exclusive Transformers Reversible Umbrella for RM39.90 at all Caltex service stations*.

Winners of the lucky draw will be published on the campaign website (www.caltextruepower.com) and Caltex Malaysia Facebook.


Spot the Caltex Fun Truck contest

From now till 3 June 2017, the “Caltex Fun Truck” contest invites members of the public to join in the fun. To participate, snap a selfie or even a group picture with the truck and post it on the Caltex Malaysia Facebook wall or on your personal Instagram account (feed must be made public) with a creative caption in less than 10 words, “Caltex brings you true power because…” and include the hashtag “#CaltexTruePower”. Over a period of three weeks, five weekly winners will walk away with StarCash worth RM200 and will be featured in Caltex’s promotional materials.
