Razer's World Of Tanks Headset

LOS ANGELES (E3 2014) – Razer™, the world leader in entertainment devices and software, in partnership with Wargaming, a leading free-to-play MMO developer and publisher, today announced a World of Tanks Razer Kraken Pro headset. The customized gaming headset expands the arsenal of Razer licensed World of Tanks products that include a Razer DeathAdder gaming mouse and Razer Goliathus gaming mouse mat.

“It is always fun for us to collaborate directly with developers whose titles we love to play, and Wargaming is one of the most prestigious names in gaming,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder, CEO and creative director. “Razer peripherals are the weapons of choice for the world’s top eSports athletes. It made perfect sense to dedicate the power and performance of our products to this amazing franchise.”
The World of Tanks Razer Kraken Pro will feature large 40mm drivers that are tuned for clear high- and mid-ranges as well as deep bass for powerful lows.

Gamers can further personalize their listening experience with Razer’s industry-leading gaming software, including Razer Surround Pro. The audio engine upgrades any stereo headphones to personalized virtual 7.1 surround sound. All downloads before June 30 will be automatically upgraded to Razer Surround Pro for free. For more information on Razer Surround, go to http://www.razerzone.com/surround.

The first 20,000 units of the World of Tanks Razer Kraken Pro include bonus codes redeemable for 1,500 in-game gold and seven days of premium service for World of Tanks accounts.

“Razer has the same attitude toward perfection that we strive for at Wargaming,” says Victor Kislyi, Wargaming CEO. “We aim to create the most realistic and engaging gaming experience, and Razer builds cutting-edge gaming devices for that purpose. When we decided to create dedicated peripherals for World of Tanks, we knew that Razer would be the perfect partner. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome.”

Razer also sponsors Odem Mortis and SIMP Gaming. The two tank squads competed in Wargaming.net’s League Grand Finals in April and proved that success on the field of battle requires skill and the perfect gear for every situation.

Razer has a strong history of licensing product with some of the top-selling game titles in the industry, including League of Legends, StarCraft® II, and Mass Effect™ 3. Razer also collaborates with some of the top eSports teams around the world to create custom licensed product.
