Global smartphone brand HONOR Malaysia is accumulating its resources together to supply its HONOR MagicBook notebooks to underprivileged students in the B40 community. The initiative is aimed at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) students who currently lack technological access as the education sector have rapidly shifted online to adopt e-learning due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Through this, HONOR Malaysia aims to strengthen its mission by inventing an intelligent new world for UKM students to stay digitally connected at home while keeping up with their learning progress.
“In what is already a difficult situation for faculty and students, HONOR is pleased to be able to assist with the learning experience from home. Launched in April, the HONOR MagicBook is the brand’s first notebook in Malaysia, and we are proud to be able to provide access to latest technology and connectivity for students in need as part of our vision to create an intelligent lifestyle for the world,” said HONOR Malaysia.
The initiative will allow selected students* to use the notebook until their campus reopens, no matter how long the period may be. This initiative helps overcome issues such as attending online lectures, accessing course materials, and working on assignments, all of which will require a notebook to complete their learning tasks.
