A New Star – The Huawei Nova 7i – is landing in Malaysia

A super star is set to shine extra bright in Malaysia come 14 February 2020. Malaysia is poised to be the first country outside of China to make available the Huawei Nova 7i.

When Huawei first introduced the Nova series, it took the world by storm by introducing two selfie cameras to provide golden angles in selfies. This series will revolutionize selfies by upping the challenge once again. The new Huawei Nova 7i takes selfies to the next level with its unrivalled video camera functions.

The selfie camera in this new mid-range phone comes with a twist – instead of just a generic selfie camera, it offers a selfie video camera that has added features such as stickers, filters, and effects, among others. Whether it is a TikTok or an Instagram video, these features work effortlessly as they are integrated with the HDR camera. No more downloading of additional apps!

In the age where video calls are prevalent, the Nova 7i becomes the first Huawei phone to introduce a new built-in video call feature known as MeeTime. Images and audio of video calls are in better quality thanks to the integration of Huawei’s low light selfie camera, with speaker and mic of the phone function. Users do not have to worry about looking for a lighted area for the other person to be able to see them in the call. MeeTime is built into the OS, and thus users do not need to download a separate app to enjoy its feature.

At its rear, the 48MP quad camera includes a dedicated ultrawide feature and a macro feature. The Huawei Nova 7i comes with 26mm (wide) F/1.8 rear camera and HDR which allows the camera to take in more light, making photos and videos look fabulous even in low light settings.

The camera also has an incredible feature that is set to make it an all-time favourite with many – a new slimming effect! This works exclusively on the rear camera with the video function, enabling every user to ‘shed’ a few of the pounds gained from the festive cookies or simply just to make fun and quirky videos with their loved ones. The slimming feature allows the person that is being recorded on video to look slightly slimmer naturally, saving you the hassle of looking for the right angle for videos!

The display of the Huawei Nova 7i is a 6.4-inch LTPS IPS LCD screen with 16M colors. The screen has a 83.5% screen-to-body ratio with a resolution of 1080 X 2310 pixels. To further enhance the user-friendly experience, the fingerprint sensor on the side of the phone makes it easy for users to conveniently unlock their phones.

The Huawei Nova 7i comes with a brand-new processor, the octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 810 processor to signify the birth of a new star in the Nova series. Combined with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory while supporting a nano memory card slot up to 256GB, this phone is made to shine brighter than the rest.

To address the need of the always on-the-go society, Huawei has installed a 4200mAH battery in the new Nova 7i, providing enough battery to last up to a full day. Additionally, the new Nova 7i now has 40W Supercharge charging that provides up to 70% battery with 30 minutes of charging, ensuring maximum up time with minimal charging.

Overall, the Huawei Nova 7i is a mid-range phone that offers next-level, flagship phone features. The display ensures a seamless and enjoyable experience when gaming, watching videos or just scrolling through Instagram, this phone packs them all in.

Be the first to own this class-leading, video selfie camera phone on 14 February 2020. The price for the Huawei Nova 7i will be announced once the details of the special roadshow are ready.
