Acer Malaysia today unveiled the next generation of the highly popular, ultra-lightweight Acer Swift 5, which is now powered by the latest 10th Gen Intel® Core™ processors and up to NVIDIA® GeForce® MX250.
Elegantly designed for performance on-the-go, the Acer Swift 5 is an ultra-light 14” laptop weighing only 990 grams. The laptop chassis is made from magnesium alloy and is powered by the option of Intel® Iris® Plus Graphics or NVIDIA® GeForce® MX250. This ensures that portability and performance now go together without any compromise.
In addition, Acer has recently been named a CES Innovation Award Honoree for developing innovative new products for 3 Acer products. The new Acer Swift 5 was one of the nominated products for its outstanding design engineering. The award was measured based on scores in innovation, engineering qualities, aesthetics and design in the categories of computer hardware, components, peripherals and accessories.

The 14” Full HD laptop comes with wide viewing angle of up to 170 degrees on the three-sided ultra-narrow 3.97mm bezel of the IPS (In-Plane Switching) touch screen giving it a high screen body-to-ratio of 86.4%. It also comes with the latest USB3.1 Type-C connector that supports Thunderbolt™, and 11 hours battery life when fully charged. The fast-charging capability provides up to 4.5 hours of use with just a 30-minute charge to support the demand of users constantly on-the-go.
The Acer Swift 5 with Intel® Core™ i7 processor with Intel® Iris® Plus Graphics, 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM support and 512GB SSD is priced at RM4,699. This variant is available in Charcoal Blue.
Users who demand just that little bit more graphics power in the Acer Swift 5 can opt for the Intel® Core™ i5 variant with NVIDIA® GeForce® MX250, 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM support and 512GB SSD at just RM3,999. This variant is available in Moonstone White.
Meanwhile, the Intel® Core™ i5 processor variant with Intel® UHD Graphics, comes with 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM support and 512GB SSD is priced at RM3,699 and will only come in Charcoal Blue & Moonstone White.
The new Acer Swift 5 is available immediately at all Acer Concept Stores and Acer Official Online Stores as well as selected Acer Official Resellers. There will also be a promotion whereby the first 5 units of any model purchased at any of these stores will receive a MI True Wireless Earbud Basic worth RM99.
