Snap your story with 48MP AI triple camera + 32MP selfie camera
Designed for the Instagram generation, Mi 9 Lite sports a top-notch triple camera setup with 48MP flagship main lens and a large 1/2” sensor for super clear 48MP ultra-high resolution day shots. It also uses 1.6μm 4-in-1 Super Pixel to capture more light for bright night shots.
The 118° ultra wide-angle lens allows you to snap the full view of your surroundings. Mi 9 Lite intelligently detects when architectural or group shots are taken and recommends when users should switch to ultra wide-angle mode for a more optimal image. With built-in AI distortion correction enabled, the device also corrects image distortion automatically. It also features a depth-sensor that allows users to produce gorgeous portraits.
For an even more optimal photography experience, users can leverage the all-new AI Skyscaping feature which accurately detects the sky within the photo and can transform an overcast day to a bright sunny one or a breathtaking sunset. This innovation was made possible by Mi AI Lab which used deep learning to analyze more than 100,000 photos of the sky.
Mi 9 Lite’s front camera uses a 32MP flagship sensor and merges four pixels to form large 1.6μm pixels and ultimately capture more details in low-light conditions. The device’s front camera supports palm shutter, as well as panorama selfies, by merging three selfie photos in one to fit even more people in a group photo.
Dazzling flagship design with contemporary features
Mi 9 Lite comes in three trendy colors: Pearl White, Aurora Blue and Onyx Black. The devices leverage the exceptional manufacturing processes used to develop Mi 9, and maintain the same comfortable hand-feel with a curved Corning ® Gorilla ® Glass 5 back. The new series also makes use of Mi 9’s 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and 91% screen-to-body ratio.
The new series adopts a vertical logo and has a multi-colour LED light on its back cover. In addition to acting as a notification LED, the hue light also supports unique light effects and can pulse along to your favorite music.
The devices are equipped with in-screen fingerprint sensor technologies – with faster unlock speed and a higher recognition rate – as well as low-blue-light eye protection certification by Germany’s VDE Testing and Certification Institute. Mi 9 Lite also protects your eyes with Reading mode 2.0, and features hardware DC brightness control which reduces eye strain and ensures color retention, while eliminating flickering under a low-light environment.
Everything you need, nothing you don’t
Despite its slim design and weighing at 179g, Mi 9 Lite packs a high capacity 4030mAh battery combined with power-saving features to accommodate up to two days of regular usage. It supports 18W fast charge which can charge from zero to 43% in just 30 minutes, with the fast charge adapter included in-box. The device is equipped with multi-functional NFC, Hi-res audio, 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IR blaster.
Powered by the Snapdragon 710 mobile platform, Mi 9 Lite offers fast speed and excellent performance. The device even supports up to 256GB expandable SD storage to ensure you have enough storage space for your favorite snaps.
Price and availability
Starting from 1 st November 2019, Mi 9 Lite comes in two variants, the 6GB+64GB variant retails at RM 1199 and will be available exclusively online at Lazada and Shopee.
The 6GB+128GB variant of the Mi 9 Lite will retail for RM 1299 and will be available at all Authorised Mi stores in Malaysia, Lazada and Shopee.
All variants of the Mi 9 Lite comes in three colours: Pearl White, Aurora Blue and Onyx Grey.
