Shopplus introduces First On-The-Go System

Kuala Lumpur (8 August 2017) — Shopplus officially launched their digital retail space, providing Malaysians an enhanced shopping experience with a  shorter waiting time for Taiwanese products and the potential to be part of the growing e-commerce market in Malaysia. The launch that took place at Aloft Kuala Lumpur was witnessed by Y.B. Datuk Chua Tee Yong, Deputy Minister of International Industry & Trade.

Targeted towards the mass Malaysian market, Shopplus is a Malaysian driven initiative that is supported by a Taiwanese technical group that provides a shopping platform with an e-commerce twist, where shoppers can shop, share and earn cash backs and shopping points from the system.

“We hope Shopplus will propel Malaysia’s e-commerce industry and bring it to greater heights with our Shopplus sharing and purchasing system. To date, Shopplus has one of the strongest bonus rebates that offers a three-tiered divined return with a fraction of an effort of sharing and shopping,” explained Mr. Cheng Chun Fu, Chief Technology Officer of Shopplus.

The system was brought in from Taiwan where users can be part of the growing e-commerce industry in Malaysia without having to invest a huge amount of time and money. It is a business platform where Malaysians can shop, share and earn through the economy sharing system.

“We believe that this is an excellent opportunity for technology savvy Malaysians to embark on their entrepreneur journey. All they will have to do is sharing while Shopplus does the backend work of stock keeping, marketing, advertising, parcel shipping and customer service. There is no other retail or e-commerce platforms that provides such a system,” he further elaborated on Shopplus.

With the new break into the Malaysian market, they are currently expanding their brand portfolio to accommodate to a wider crowd.

“With Malaysia moving forward in the e-commerce industry and having the Digital Free Trade Zone being set up, we hope that more Malaysians will take the opportunity to see how the e-commerce industry will greatly benefit them in the future.” commented Y.B. Datuk Chua Tee Yong, Deputy Minister (Trade) of Malaysia International Trade & Industry.

Shopplus has the best of both sides; with Taiwan having a matured e-commerce platform bringing in their experience and expertise to Shopplus, while Malaysia makes up a team that provides an extensive local insight of the marketing and retail industry.
