Olympus launches OMD EM Mk II and new Midvalley brand store

If you’re keen to browse, get a hands-on and experience the latest hardware that Olympus has to offer, you’ll be pleased to know that they’ve just opened their latest brand store on level 2 at lot S-0335 just off the Centre Court in Midvalley Megamall. Not only does the new Olympus branding store offer a complete range of Olympus cameras and accessories but also JVC audio gear, GoPro action cameras, FitBit fitness accessories and Garmin hardware too.

Also announced in tandem with the launch of the store was Olympus’ new addition to their OM-D range of cameras, the E-M10 Mark II. This 16.1-MP shooter has a LiveMOS sensor and rock-steady 5-axis image stabilisation built-in along with a 2.36M dot OLED viewfinder to frame shots, a tiltable rear LCD that lets you go for high-up and low-down conceptual shots along with 14 different art filters for your delectation. The E-M10 Mark II also sports 8.5fps burst rate shooting and Touch autofocus on the rear tiltable LCD as well as silky smooth 1080P at 24/25/30 fps at your disposal. Also announced during the launch were the prices and packages for the OM-D E-M10 Mark II. You can acquire the body only for RM2,699, the body with a 14-42mm EZ lens for RM3,399 and the body with a 14-160mm II lens at RM4,299.

For the duration until 7^th November, you can purchase the OM-D E-M10 Mark II at the Olympus brand store and get a complimentary leather strap (CSS-S119L) and extra battery (BLS-50) worth RM488.
