Kuala Lumpur (12 May 2015) — Gamevil Malaysia held a ceremony today to officially launch its popular Role Playing Game (RPG) titled Dragon Blaze.
Following the success of Gamevil’s numerous award winning games, game enthusiasts in Malaysia can now begin the adventure and become a legend in the hit Korean mobile RPG Dragon Blaze, out today on App Store and Google Play. Developed by FLINT and published by GAMEVIL, Dragon Blaze is an enchanting fantasy RPG filled with dynamic characters and vibrant battle sequences. With this launch, Gamevil continues to lead the industry in publishing mobile games for a global audience.
The game begins with the return of Deathcrown, the fearsome dragon king of the living and the dead. Since his return, humans and dragons have been at war, and players must now take on the duty of saving the human race as one of five heroes: Warrior, Archer, Mage, Priest, or Rogue. Throughout the journey, players will recruit and train other team members to assist them in battling creatures in Dragon’s Landing and ending the war.
This latest RPG was originally launched in Korea’s Kakao Talk messaging platform in February 2014 and is one of Gamevil’s most successful titles. It has been downloaded 5 million times and has remained consistently as the top ten grossing app in Korea, having reached the number 1 spot on App Store and number 4 spot on Google Play, domestically.
“We are confident that Dragon Blaze will be as successful in Malaysia as there is a big following here for RPG. Most of our games come with local support and we have also localised Dragon Blaze to Bahasa Melayu and Simplified Chinese for all of our local game enthusiasts to enjoy. “ said Alicia Yeng, Gamevil’s General Manager in Malaysia.
Dragon Blaze has four main game modes:
- Adventure: Travel through Dragon’s Landing at various levels – Normal, Hero, Legend, and Myth – to combat enemies, recruit allies, and unfold the story.
- Boss Raid: Join real-time 4-player boss raids and receive rare items and weapons as rewards.
- PvP Arena: Challenge other players and receive avatars to strengthen and customize your heroes.
- Labyrinth: Explore the labyrinth, fight against endless waves of enemies, and gather gold.
Players can improve their heroes’ character by levelling up, equipping weapons, and learning passive and active skills. The game also has an extensive Quest system and a Guild system, which provide additional rewards.
The event was officiated by Joerg Tente, Managing Director, Gamevil Southeast Asia: “Malaysian gamers will love Dragon Blaze and I am sure they will, as well appreciate the high service levels we promise given the multi-language support of the game (English, Bahasa Melayu and Simplified Chinese), customer care and community management. I am looking forward to more events like this which reflect on our commitment to the Malaysian gamers.”
