Kuala Lumpur (4 September 2014) – Lenovo (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY) announced its next generation smartphone, the new S850 which combines sleek design elements with quad-core performance and new features an overall impressive mobile experience.
The new device complements Lenovo’s existing portfolio of smartphones, offering consumers greater choices across multiple price points to fit both lifestyle and budget. The S850 offers the fashion set an incredibly slim yet feature-packed mobile device.
Lenovo, the third largest smart connected device maker worldwide1, has expanded aggressively into the global smartphone market, introducing smartphones in 25 countries over the past two years. The new S-series smartphone meets the demands of today’s mobile users, and come equipped with quad-core MediaTek (MTK) processors and running Android Kit Kat. Trendsetting All-Glass Design
Fashion-conscious users will favor the S850 for its remarkably thin and lightweight all-glass exterior, available in pink, white or blue. The sleek design encases a true mobile machine with an MTK quad core processor, 13MP rear and 5MP front cameras for snapping and sharing high quality photos and a large 5-inch screen for watching content in high definition.
Lenovo Malaysia also announces its support towards the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA) as it believes in giving back to society, especially for a cause that addresses a disease that affects Malaysian women. BCWA will see a donation of RM10 from Lenovo Malaysia for each of the first 1,000 Lenovo S850 units sold from 4th September until 30th September 2014.
