Kuala Lumpur (24 September 2014) – Gunnebo will be the preferred technology partner for a complete cash management solution to be offered to retailers in Malaysia. The agreement is to be signed between one of Gunnebo Malaysia’s authorised Channel Partners, Sensorlink, and security and guarding services provider, Shapadu Security Sdn Bhd (SSSB).
The partnership will see Sensorlink deploying Gunnebo’s automated cash handling solutions and providing maintenance services while Shapadu manages cash collection and processing.
SSSB has traditionally focused on security guarding services (armed and unarmed static guards, close protection and security escort services) but is increasingly venturing into cash management services where it is providing cash and valuables in transit , as well as cash processing services.
The advancement in technology is supported by Gunnebo’s automated cash handling solutions. It will enable Shapadu to offer comprehensive cash management services, tailored after the different needs of its customers.
With the specific solutions offer retailers will be able to focus on their core business – serving their end-customers – though minimizing the time spent on cash administration.
