SHAH ALAM (27 August 2014) – DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (DiGi) today presented cash prizes to 13 winners of its Duit Raya RM1,000 contest. As part of the company’s Aidilfitri rewards offering, these loyal customers were rewarded simply for enjoying this year’s festive mobile content with DiGi.
The prizes were presented at a recent Hari Raya celebration hosted by DiGi, where customers also had the opportunity to meet and listen to a tazkirah by local religious personality, Ustaz Don. Joining them in the festivities were 30 orphans and representatives from Rumah Anak Cahaya Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (RACTAR).
“This contest was a unique opportunity for us to appreciate our loyal customers and make their mobile experience more meaningful this Ramadhan and Raya season. As part of the contest included content from Ustaz Don’s video channels, we wanted to add to the festive experience by giving our customers the chance to meet and celebrate Aidil Fitri with this personality,” said Roziyati Abd Rahman, DiGi’s Head of Campaign Management.
In addition to the tazkirah, customers were also treated to performances by teen artiste Ali’Din, YouTube sensations Tasha Manshahar and Syed Shamim, Ustaz Robby Tandang, Zalee Redang and Kumpulan Nasyid Damai.
Duit Raya RM1,000 contest ran from 29 June to 24 August 2014, gave DiGi postpaid and prepaid customers the opportunity to be one of the three (3) weekly winners to win RM1,000 cash. Customers needed only to subscribe to DiGi’s Ramadan & Raya CallerTunes and the Ustaz Don video channels to be in the running to win the weekly prizes. The contest was held in collaboration with Forest Interactive, Universal Music Malaysia, Warner Music Malaysia, Sony Music Entertainment Malaysia, One Stop Music Berhad and Zed Mobile Sdn Bhd.
