Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (25 July 2014) – In conjunction with Hari Raya, LINE Corporation, owner and operator of the free call and messaging app LINE, announced the release of exclusive Lebaran theme for its LINE Selfie Sticker app. Users can now spread warm greetings and wishes using these images in the LINE Selfie Sticker app, sending personalized and customized stickers of themselves during this festive season. The launch of the Lebaran themed selfie sticker is part of LINE’s ongoing effort to provide localized content for the Malaysian users.

Other than the Lebaran themed selfie sticker, LINE has also released Eid Mubarak sticker sets featuring LINE characters such as Brown, Cony and Friends. With 12 stickers in the Eid Mubarak sticker sets, LINE users can express themselves during Hari Raya. The Eid Mubarak stickers are now available for download via the LINE Sticker Shop in the LINE app.
Additionally, to liven up Hari Raya, LINE in partnership with BHPetrol and Sony and will be running exclusive promotions. BHPetrol will be giving away exclusive LINE green packets from 15th July to 31st July 2014 to its customers with purchase of selected products at its BHPetromart. The LINE green packets also feature a QR code which customers can scan and download LINE Eid Mubarak Stickers that can be shared with friends and family. Customers also stand a chance to win exclusive LINE Dolls every day and Sony Xperia Smartphones, Sony Bluetooth Speakers, and cash vouchers when they scan a Contest Code upon purchasing the selected products.

The Lebaran Themed Selfie sticker is accessible on the LINE Selfie Sticker app and users can start making them in three simple steps. First, take a picture of their own face and then proceed to choose their favorite illustration. Once they are done, the stickers can then be shared with their friends and families. Stickers created within the LINE Selfie Sticker app can be sent directly through chats in LINE, posted to the Timeline, or be edited even further in LINE Camera. They can also be shared across a wide variety of social networking services besides LINE, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
