KUALA LUMPUR (30 June 2014) – With anticipation and excitement building over the impending release of Surface Pro 3 in Malaysia, Microsoft Malaysia (“Microsoft”) today announced that Malaysians can pre-order the tablet that can replace your laptop, starting from a recommended retail price (“RRP”) of RM2,729 for its Core i3 64GB version, up to RM6,779 for its Core i7 512GB version.
“Surface was built with productivity in mind. We believe that there are so many people still carrying both a laptop and a tablet but what they really want is just one device that serves all purposes,” said Rukmani Subramanian, Chief Marketing & Operations Officer at Microsoft Malaysia. “Powerful, portable and designed to maximize productivity, Surface Pro 3 brings the best of a laptop and the best of a tablet together in one sleek device.”
Surface Pro 3 will be offered in multiple configurations featuring 4th-generation Intel® Core™ i3, i5 and i7 processors. The Surface Pro 3 Type Cover will be sold separately and comes in a choice of black, cyan, blue, purple, and has an RRP of RM409. All configurations of Surface Pro 3 as well as the new Surface Pro 3 Type Cover will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow.
