Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (9 January 2014) HP today unveiled a portfolio of elegantly styled business notebooks that redefine mainstream mobile computing, designed to fit the needs of any business user or IT budget.
Businesses are in the midst of a workplace transformation as employee demand for stylish mobile devices competes with IT decision makers’ need to keep company technology secure and manageable.
With this in mind, HP designed its new EliteBook series of notebook PCs for mobility, durability and security, while pleasing the eye with a radically thinner profile wrapped in a performance-inspired design.
As well as the new Elitebook series of notebook PCs, HP also showcased its full commercial product range at its Channel Odyssey event today, from displays and workstations, to accessories and thin clients, among others, in real life scenarios across vertical sectors, such as manufacturing, healthcare, education, and FSI.

Elitebook Series
The HP EliteBook 1040 G1 is an elegantly designed business Ultrabook which is 16.1 percent thinner and 7.3 percent lighter than the previous generation EliteBook Folio making this Ultrabook EliteBook PC the thinnest and lightest in the market today.
Despite being lightweight this device has passed the MIL-STD 810g testing, provides all-day battery life and features a new aluminum keyboard deck that provides additional spill protection.
The HP EliteBook 1040 G1 also comes equipped with the latest powerful 4th generation Intel® Dual-Core™ i5 or i7 processors to provide employees with full office capabilities wherever work takes them.
The HP EliteBook 800 series is up to 40 percent thinner and 28 percent lighter than previous generations, while delivering critical enterprise features, allowing businesses to provide the Ultrabook experience to everyone in the office. They’re designed for frequent travelers with an option for up to 33 hours of battery life and MIL-STD 810G certification for business-rugged reliability
The HP EliteBook 800 series notebooks are engineered with the security and management features required by enterprise IT, but are customizable to fit the needs of businesses of all sizes.
The new series offers Ultrabook qualification for select notebooks, and features a thinner and lighter profile ideal for travelers, and a sophisticated design in a rich graphite black with meteorite gray accents inspired by high-performance automobiles.
The HP EliteBook 820 G1 is up to 35 percent thinner and 18 percent lighter than previous generations, featuring a 12-inch diagonal display and weighing 1.33 kg for business travelers who need a light, full-featured device.
The HP EliteBook 840 G1 is Ultrabook qualified and offers a 14-inch diagonal display with an optional touch display optimized for the Windows 8 experience, plus an amazing battery life of up to 33 hours with the optional secondary Slice Battery.
The HP EliteOne 800 G1 All-in-One PC is an enterprise class All-in-One business PC designed to elevate your performance and leave a professional impression no matter the environment. This AiO has a slim and sleek 23-inch screen, several stand options and can easily be mounted on a wall freeing up more room on your desk.
Equipped with solid-state drives, solid-state hybrid drive options, 2.8x stronger charging current, NFC and 4th generation Intel Core processors, this device helps increase work productivity and efficiency while maintaining security with HP Client Security and Intel vPro.

Also on show today were a number of HP’s latest business printers. The HP Officejet Office Prox476dw can print, copy, scan, fax, and send files from a single device that’s easily integrated into corporate networks and managed with industry-leading tools.
The Officejet 7610 Wide Format e-All-in-One gives users versatile, wide format printing with color printouts ranging from 3 x 5 to 13 x 19 inches. Reduce cost when creating borderless flyers, brochures, marketing materials, and more in-house for less than a print shop. This device is designed for volumes up to 800 pages per month.
The Designjet T1500 ePrinter is a newly designed, two roll, web connected ePrinter. This large format printer givesa innovative user experience with its ability to eliminate output clutter, load two paper rolls effortlessly as well as allowing users to monitor media rolls, view printer status on its touchscreen and track jobs during printing. By being able to print multiple documents on different media types with two rolls and smart switching, the Designjet T1500 saves a large amount of time.
