Team Razer's Fuudo Clinches Finals Spot

SINGAPORE – November 11, 2013 – After three days of tension-filled matches in Razer HQ Singapore, the Capcom Cup Asia Finals 2013 concluded with Singaporean contestant Eng Ghim Kee “Gackt” clinching first position and Team Razer’s Keita “Fuudo” Ai emerging second. Both players will be representing Asia in the Grand Finals held in Northern California this December.

Featuring Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition in this tournament, a series of qualifiers were held in Korea, Taiwan and Singapore with the top six challengers from those qualifiers battling out at the Capcom Cup Asia Finals held in Singapore from November 8 to November 10.

As the official organizing body of the Capcom Cup Asia Finals 2013 and its qualifiers, Razer co-founder, CEO and creative director Min-Liang Tan and Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono were present to support the players and celebrate the win.

“All the finalists have exhibited incredible level of skills and Fuudo has definitely exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, dedication and passion,” said Min-Liang Tan. “We are proud to have sponsored the Capcom Cup Asia Finals and we are encouraged by the community to do more for fighting game scene in 2014.”
