Acer Malaysia today officially introduced the much-anticipated annual Acer Day campaign with the theme ’Live Your World‘ for this year to encourage Malaysians to make the best of whatever situation they are in. In addition to regular promotions and activities, Acer Malaysia will donate a portion of proceeds from every purchase of select devices during this campaign on behalf of customers to World Vision.
Following the philosophy of connecting people through music from its predecessor, this year sees Acer gathering young singers from six countries to produce the theme song ’Live Your World‘. Representing Malaysian is Aina Abdul, who carried her part in Malay and English. The Malaysian songstress is joined by other talented singers from – Indonesia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Acer Swift Series – Thin & Light for Everyone
In the same event, Acer also announced an update to its highly in-demand laptops – Acer Swift 3 and Acer Swift 1. Swift is known as the popular thin and light series, and now Swift 3 comes with a bigger 16-inch display while Swift 1, the affordable thin and light laptop, now comes with a new Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor.
Equipped with the 16-inch FHD IPS display, Acer Swift 3 offers bigger “workspace” and larger enjoyment to the users. Compared with the 14-inch variant, Acer managed to maintain the height at 15.9mm and added only 500grams to bring the weight to just 1.7kg for a 16-inch laptop with the same beautiful display offering 100% sRGB color gamut. While the16-inch Acer Swift 3 comes with two variants which powered by 11th Gen Intel Core i7 and Intel Core i5, priced at RM4,599 and RM3,699 respectively.
