MYGROSER celebrates Malaysians Coming #TogetherToBeBetter

Merdeka Day through Malaysia Day (31 August to 16 September) marks the time of year when Malaysians begin celebrating our shared Tanah Airku. Inspired by the everyday resilience, strength and humanity demonstrated by Malaysians around them, and in line with this years’ national day theme of #MalaysiaPrihatin, MYGROSER has produced its first ever short film to mark the period – Together To Be Better (#TogetherToBeBetter).

The self-produced short embodies the same approach to everyday life that has seen our country set the tone for growth, multiculturalism, a commonsense love-your-neighbor value, and the belief that we are better together. As the country continues to deal with the after-effects of the global pandemic, MYGROSER has chosen to focus on what continues to make our country great. It’s people, unity and commonsense approach to helping each other.

“We are a proud Malaysian company and wanted to celebrate that. We’ve seen the power of people coming together regardless of race, religion, colour, economic station or anything else in lifting the nation during difficult times. Together we have all made life better for someone and in our own way, we have taken our view as an independent grocery brand and translated some of the situations we have seen among our own customers into a short video that we hope Malaysians love. This Merdeka and Malaysia Day, we hope to inspire Malaysians – even as we are inspired by our fellow Malaysians everyday – to continue embracing the same fighting spirit that has made Malaysians great as we come #TogetherToBeBetter,” said Stephen P Francis, CEO and Co-Founder, MYGROSER.

Adding to the fun of its first video launch, MyGroser is adding to the benefits consumers get when using its service through a brand new contest found on Facebook (www.facebook.com/MYGROSER), part of its #TogetherToBeBetter campaign. It encourages fans on MyGroser’s Facebook page to test the depths of their local knowledge by participating in its daily ‘Malaysia Quiz’.

From now until 16 September, Malaysians can stand a chance to win up to RM300 of MyGroser store credits by answering the daily questions correctly in the comments section before 9PM (MYT) daily.

Convenience, Freshness and Everyday Value – MyGroser continues to give users access to a growing variety of thousands of groceries and everyday necessities to meet their daily needs in a seamless way without breaking the bank. MYGROSER (www.mygroser.com) is available online, and on the iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play Store) platforms.
