16 Teams from East and West qualify for PUBG MOBILE World League Season Zero Finals from 6-9 August

With the conclusion of the final PUBG MOBILE World League (PMWL) Season Zero Super Weekend, the best 16 teams have now emerged and earned their place in the prestigious PMWL Season Zero Finals, happening this week from 6-9 August.

The PMWL Season Zero Super Weekends saw three weeks of exhilarating gameplay where teams from the East and West Leagues battled it out for sought after World League Points which, accumulated, would get them seats at the top of the game.

Here is the full list of the 16 teams that have qualified for the PMWL Season Zero Finals:

The competing teams hit high gear and the game reached a new level of intensity as the final Super Weekend drew to a close. At the end, team BTR from the East League managed to capture the final map and overthrew Box Gaming from pole position.

In the West League, team Loops Esports proved their prowess, showing us how they had managed to defend their position as the strongest team in their region, having recently emerged as champion of the PUBG MOBILE Pro League Americas.

The overall leaderboards for East and West Leagues are as below:

Due to the global pandemic, the PMWL Season Zero — PUBG MOBILE’s newest global esports programme — was changed to an all-online format, with Mountain Dew as the official beverage. The PMWL Season Zero, started on 11 July with 20 teams joining World League East and 20 teams joining World League West, and will conclude with the Finals from 6-9 August. It can be watched via live stream on PUBG MOBILE Esports YouTube channel.

PUBG MOBILE Esports Award 2020 to honour the best in the game

Earlier this month the PUBG MOBILE Esports Awards 2020 was announced, which will honour the best performances and plays in PUBG MOBILE Esports. The upcoming PMWL Season Zero Finals will also announce the PMWL West & East MVPs, with each MVP receiving a USD 3,000 prize reward.

Fan Favorite Players from different regions, which have been voted for in-game by the community in July will also be revealed at the Finals, with each player receiving a USD 2,000 prize reward. Fans can also expect more huge announcements at the PMWL Season Zero Finals.

The PMWL Season Zero Finals will be held from August 6th to August 9th. The East League Finals will begin at 8.00pm (MYT) for Asia, and the West League will begin at 2.00am (MYT) for Europe, Middle East and Americas.
