FWD Takaful Berhad (“FWD Takaful”) is continuing its collaboration with Arus Education Sdn Bhd (“Arus Academy”) by launching Fun(d) for Life portal, a free online platform that teaches financial literacy.
This is the second year of FWD Takaful’s work with Arus Academy, a social enterprise providing equal opportunity for all through quality education, and part of a series of events to promote financial literacy nationwide.
The portal can be found at fundfor.life and includes several key features:
- Interactive games, infographics and video content for students aged 7 to 18 years old
- Articles and educational content for adults – whether they’re parents, or simply those wishing to enhance and build on their knowledge
- Lesson plans for teachers, across all grade levels, aligned to the national curriculum
The economic impact of COVID-19 has elevated the need for personal financial awareness and management, so the platform has also been designed to offer dedicated help and support during the unique circumstances brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s also aligned to Malaysia’s National Strategy for Financial Literacy 2019-2023.

Fun(d) for Life is one of several initiatives launched by FWD Takaful to promote financial education and sound financial management – including educating Malaysians on the concept and benefits of takaful protection. In 2019, FWD Takaful and Arus Academy launched their ‘Fun(d) for Life Camps’; an interactive financial literacy programme for schools across Malaysia.
Over the coming months, Fun(d) for Life will share even more activities and content for parents, teachers and students.
The importance of financial education and inclusivity has also been highlighted by the United Nations Capital Development Fund as an enabler to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Therefore, it’ll also help Malaysia in attaining these global SDGs.
