With the implementation of the nationwide Restricted Movement Order (RMO) by the government to stem the outbreak of COVID-19, Malaysians are urged to stay indoors at all times unless there is an absolute need to leave their homes – to purchase essentials, travel to work for those working under the essential service and emergencies.
Under the second phase of the RMO which began on 1st April, the government had implemented the “one person per car” ruling. Now, SOCAR shares some useful community tips that Malaysians can adhere to, for the coming weeks and a promo code for those who REALLY NEED to leave their homes.
For those living with family, friends or the elderly within their vicinity, do always remember to check with them if help is needed to purchase groceries or medical supplies because a little goes a long way, especially during times like these. SOCAR also encourages users to wash their hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content to kill the virus and most importantly, plan trips. Users are also urged to always clean up after themselves after using the cars by wiping the commonly touched areas. We at SOCAR, would also be doing our part to curb the spread of COVID-19 by regularly cleaning and sanitising all our vehicles.
