Sunway Property enters Malaysia Book Of Records for First Property Customisation and Online Purchase System

Sunway Property has received a recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records for having launched the “First Property Customisation & Online Purchase System” in Malaysia for its integrated Sunway Grid project in Sunway Iskandar, Johor.

The Sunway Grid website www.sunwaygrid.com allows buyers to customise, book and purchase their preferred “convertible homes” in Sunway GRID Residence anywhere, anytime with just a few clicks.

Customisation options include the type (standard or loft), unit floor, view (river view or harbour view), unit, layout or number of rooms, and furnishings. All of these can be done with a few simple clicks and confirmation of reservation is done by paying RM500 only via a payment gateway.

“The Malaysia Book of Records look to acknowledge originality and creativity and records that can inspire others eager to surpass an achievement. We believe that Sunway GRID has achieved this with its first e-commerce website that allows customisation online in Malaysia,” said Christopher Wong, CEO of the Malaysia Book of Records.

“We are honoured to be certified by the Malaysia Book of Records for being the first developer in Malaysia to launch digitally-purchasable-and-customisable homes. We had the best interests of the customer in mind when we developed this concept for Sunway GRID, offering ultimate flexibility for our customers during the buying process and in their configuration choices for their units. The personalization factor, combined with the most affordable price in the vicinity of Medini, is expected to attract the influx of youths to Sunway Iskandar,” said Gerard Soosay, CEO of Sunway Iskandar.

“For the buyers, this project intends to deliver convenience, service quality and for us, it would ultimately deliver improvement in competitiveness for the long-haul since any business’ future now depends on technology,” he added.

“In conjunction with the achievement, Sunway Property is offering a RM 10,000 rebate for online purchases with its Crazy GRID Deals which will take place from March 5-to April 30,” he added.

Sunway GRID Residence is a part of the RM 402 million GDV (gross development value) Sunway GRID integrated development, comprising shops, office and residential components that aspires to bring together a community of youths to commune, exchange ideas, and flourish their personal and business ambitions. This is the first time that the developer has designed a fully youth-centric development. The residential component, which was the first to be launched, has achieved a 70% take-up rate.

Buyers of Sunway GRID Residence will be able to enjoy other amenities and facilities in the masterplanned community of which Sunway Property holds 40% stake in and has invested RM 1 billion. Amongst the amenities are the newly-opened Sunway Big Box Retail Park, X Park, and Sunway International School which are just a short walking distance away. The developer will also be launching its first Sunway Big Box Hotel and SJK (C) Cheah Fah school by the end of the year. The project is just a mere five kilometres away from Singapore through Coastal Highway Southern Link (CHSL). For easy accessibility, Sunway Iskandar has also partnered with Causeway Link to provide public buses for residents working and traveling to Singapore once they move into the township.
