LG Electronics solidifies footprint in Shah Alam with its First Brand Shop with TBM

In line with its direction in ‘Creating a Better Life’, consumer electronics company, LG Electronics Malaysia solidifies its stronghold in Selangor with the launch of its first Brand Shop in Central i-City, giving local communities better access to ground-breaking, innovative products.

LG’s first Brand Shop in Shah Alam and the fifth in Selangor will house its range of Home Appliances and Home Entertainment products, including the award-winning OLED TVs and NanoCell TVs, InstaView Door-in-Door™ refrigerators, TWINWash”‘ washing machines, DUALCOOL”‘ air conditioners and the recently launched PuriCare”‘ tankless water purifier.

LG Electronics Malaysia’s Managing Director, Kim Kyutae who officiated the opening ceremony said, “Today’s Brand Shop opening in Central i-City is a reinforcement of our goal to provide our customers with better access to LG’s innovative products as well as an immersive experience when buying them. Recently LG announced its third-quarter 2019 financial results, reporting a record-breaking third-quarter consolidated revenues of USD 13.15 billion (RM 54.7 billion) and operating profit of USD 654.4 million (RM 2.72 billion) for the July to September period. Sales increased 1.8 percent and operating income was 4.4 percent higher compared with the same period last year, due to the strong performance in the Home Appliance, Home Entertainment and Business Solutions divisions.

Kim added, “not only does these numbers signify the high level of confidence and trust our consumers have for us, it is also a motivation for LG to work harder, work better to continue deliver innovative products.
