A year following its entry into the Malaysian market, global on-demand logistics company Lalamove continues to transform the local logistic landscape. Leveraging on the internet and its proprietary app, Lalamove aims to create greater customer satisfaction through same-day deliveries, for both personal and business needs.
Since its arrival on local shores, the budding startup has completed over half a million deliveries. Receiving up to 3,000 orders per day, Lalamove continues to fulfil its promise of same-day deliveries with an average delivery time of just over 30 minutes. The gist of Lalamove is centred on technology and crowdsourced drivers, much like e-hailing applications that Malaysians are now familiar with. The app can help consumers deliver various items of all shapes and sizes, from personal belongings to business inventories with motorcycles, cars, lorries, and soon-to-be-introduced vans. In addition, Lalamove offers food delivery and queueing services at food outlets that may be unavailable on other platforms for consumers. For businesses, business owners have access to a fleet of Lalamove trained drivers without worrying about the overhead costs in hiring and managing their own fleet. In its efforts to provide even greater convenience through its services, Lalamove also offers lorry services to tap into the demand for large-scale deliveries for businesses and moving services for consumers.
