Lenovo officially launches ThinkBook, a New Sub-Brand for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses in Malaysia

Lenovo has officially launched the new ThinkBook 13s in Malaysia. It is the first laptop that is being launched under Lenovo’s new sub-brand with the aim to meet small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) product needs.

In this constantly connected world, modern workers need devices they can use to collaborate in any remote location. Similarly, both the millennials and Gen Z crave for meaningful employment and expect company devices that blur the lines of work, life, passion and purpose. As such, this ultra-slim ThinkBook laptop comes with Windows 10 is perfect for today’s young tech-savvy executives to own a sleek-looking yet cost-effective device. Stylish and More Secure

Users can lay the ThinkBook 13s laptop flat at 180° thanks to the feature of ultra-narrow bezels, which packs a larger display into a small portable package. It is wrapped in aluminium and magnesium metals with ‘Mineral Grey’ finish. The laptop is ultraportable as it weighs 2.95lbs (1.34kg).

Rapid Response

The ThinkBook 13s also has the Windows Modern Standby feature to connect smartphone to business laptops as it allows emails to be downloaded, receive Skype call alerts, and get Windows app updates – even with the laptop lid closed. Moreover, it resumes from standby almost instantly with the Smart Power On button or voice command. Additionally, there is a dedicated Skype Hot Keys button on the keyboard. Users are able to press that key to answer and hang up calls conveniently.

The technology within the laptop is engineered for minimal bottlenecks with 8th Generation Intel® Core™ processors, standard SSD, and powerful graphics with either Integrated Intel UHD 620 or discrete AMD Radeon™ 540X. Lenovo also built in the RapidCharge technology into this laptop where users can obtain 80% of battery capacity by charging it for an hour.

Business-grade Support

In business, PC downtime can have a cascading effect, resulting in poorer customer satisfaction that affects brand reputation. As such, the ThinkBook 13s is supported by a range of business-grade services including Lenovo Premier Support, warranty extensions and upgrades, such as onsite next business day support and International Warranty Service to minimize any downtime.

The laptop also comes with built-in self-management features, especially useful for smaller companies without dedicated onsite support teams. Among these, the preloaded Lenovo Vantage software offers tools for preventive hardware diagnostics, personalized hardware settings and auto-install of critical updates.
