Subang Jaya (5 May 2017) — Acer Malaysia is extending its leadership in gaming monitors by adding two new additions with a blazingly fast 240Hz refresh rate to its Predator gaming monitor series.
The Predator XB2 Series monitors are built from the ground up for fast-paced, tournament-grade intensity for gaming enthusiasts. They are developed with professional gaming in mind. Boasting NVIDIA® G-SYNC™ and NVIDIA® Ultra Low Motion Blur (ULMB™) technology1, a fast 1ms response time and a rapid 240Hz refresh rate, the 24.5-inch Predator XB252Q and 27-inch Predator XB272 deliver an incredibly realistic in-game experience with fast-moving action, sharp edges and dramatic transitions rendered smoothly without smearing or ghosting.
These two new Predator XB2 models feature aggressive aesthetics. Sleek, black frame with sharp angles and bold red accents gave it a feral look. With their Full HD 1080p resolution and a sharp 1,000:1 contrast ratio offering superb picture quality, the ZeroFrame design provides maximum viewing experience and supports multi-monitor setups. The ergonomically-designed stand allows gamers to find the perfect viewing position; tilt from -5 to 20 degrees, swivel +45-degree, pivot 90 degrees clockwise and adjustment height up to 115 mm. With a quick-release design, the monitors can be separated easily from the stand for VESA wall-mounting to maximize desk space, while a cable clip keeps the desk clutter-free.
The GameView technology allows gamers to switch between three customizable display profiles: Action, Racing and Sports, to tweak settings in-game without having to navigate the OSD menu, a significant advantage when every second counts. Gamers can also define their own custom profile and save to each mode according to their gaming preferences.
Featuring Acer VisionCare™ technology, the Predator XB2 monitors offer Flicker-less, BluelightShield™, ComfyView and low-dimming technologies to help safeguard the eyes from flickering visuals, screen glare, blue light emissions and over-illumination, which help reduce eye strain during long gaming sessions for heavy users. Users will find the powerful connectivity via HDMI, DisplayPort v1.2 and a USB 3.0 hub (1 up/4 down) come in handy. The monitors also come with two 2W speakers.
Priced at RM2,399.00 and RM2,599.00 respectively, the Predator XB252Q and Predator XB272 will be available beginning mid-May 2017 at select authorized Acer resellers nationwide.
