Kuala Lumpur (26 April 2017) — Daikin Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., a pioneer in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning) industry, have reintroduced their latest technology series, Daikin Home Central Air Conditioning (HCAC) System, in Design Mobility – Daikin Home Central Concept Home. Having its first stop at TPC Kuala Lumpur, the live container home is set to encourage interior designers, architects and home owners to push the boundaries of creativity.
Inspired by Yayoi Kusama, a Japanese Avant-Garde artist, artwork the Daikin Home Central Concept Home is an Avant-Garde theme home that showcases the systems’ flexibility and multifunction usage of each air conditioning unit that is specifically designed for different areas.
“Air conditioners has become an integral entity of our daily lives due to the temperature and moisture level of Malaysia’s weather,” commented Mr. Ooi Cheng Suan, Chief Operating Officer of Daikin Malaysia. “With most modern Malaysian homes fitted with an air conditioning unit, we are continuously innovating our air conditioning units to be at par with design trends, user requirements and functionality” he continued.
The Daikin Home Central Air Conditioning System is a centralised system that can support up to 12 horse power air conditioners. Unlike conventional air conditioning units that require one compressor for each indoor unit, this system enables the reduction of the outdoor compressor unit, which gives homes a neat and minimalistic outlook.
The Design Mobility – Daikin Home Central Concept Home showcased six air conditioning units; Moisture Control Intelligent 3D Air Flow Ceiling Mounted Duct (Living Room), Intelligent 3D Air Flow Ceiling Mounted Duct (Bedroom), Ventilating Moisture Control Bathroom Ceiling Mounted Cassette (Bathroom), High Durability Moisture Control Kitchen Ceiling Mounted Cassette (Kitchen), Moisture Control Closet Ceiling Mounted Cassette (Walk-in Wardrobe) and Compact Ceiling Mounted Duct (Discussion Room).
“Each air conditioning unit is specially designed to accommodate the different requirements of each area with its unique function,” explained Mr. Ooi Seng Choong, Senior Manager, Plan & Specification (Proshop) of Daikin Malaysia, during the sharing session. “With the use of HCAC system, home owners won’t have to face problems such as protruding indoor unit, hindrance of decorative items or mismatch of colour.” he further elaborated.
