‘One Canon One Tree’ campaign at Taman Setia Impian

Shah Alam (17 December 2016) — Canon commits a tree back to Mother Nature for every Multi-function Device (MFD) sold in One Canon One Tree’ campaign. Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd invited its corporate customers to join in its green environmental efforts in a tree planting event called ‘One Canon One Tree’ at Taman Setia Impian (Western Park).

The event was a joint effort with Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam and fully sponsored by Canon for its customers and staff. The planting of 1,000 trees was led by Mr. Andrew Koh, President and CEO of Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and Deputy Mayor of Shah Alam, Yang Berbahagia Tuan Shukri bin Mohd Hamin, joined by Mr. Simon Siow Fun Yean, Ahli Majlis Pengerusi MPP Zon 21.

A total of 300 attendees comprised of Canon customers, Canon management, staff & families, Shah Alam City Council members, management and staff of MBSA attended the tree planting event. Andrew Koh, President and CEO of Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd said, “We are delighted to organise the ‘One Canon One Tree’ programme with MBSA this morning to do our part for the environment. This environmental project allows us to contribute towards greening the neighbourhood, reducing pollution and cooling down the hot weather.
