XOX Mobile collaborates with Renowned Concert Management
Petaling Jaya (18 March 2016) — XOX Mobile, the mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) service provider has found a new beat as it partners with renowned concert management to bring world-class entertainment to Malaysia.
The brand is exploring new ways to leverage the interest of its growing subscriber base for exclusive entertainment events.
XOX Mobile struck gold with its first foray, co-organising the recent ‘Another Eason’s Life in Malaysia 2016’ concert with Galaxy Group, the leading concert management company in Malaysia. All three nights of the concert by Hong Kong superstar Eason Chan were fully sold out.
With its subscriber base providing an easy to connect with market of entertainment fans, XOX Mobile has lined up a star-studded roster of acts for the next two months.
These include Yip Sai Wing’s World Tour on April 9, WE Leo Ku World Tour 2016 Malaysia on April 23, Korean superstar Rain’s first Malaysian concert in 5 years – Rain “The Squall” Tour 2016 in Malaysia on May 21 and Hong Kong Cantopop Queen Sammi Cheng’s Sammi Touchmi World Tour Live in Malaysia concert on May 27 and 28.
The brand will also be supporting local acts such as “Huat The Show” on April 16 that showcases the talents of top Malaysian radio DJs and artistes. Subsequently, XOX Mobile will also be co-organising Malay entertainment events in the upcoming months.
XOX Mobile has a reputable track record for supporting mass events and nurturing local talents through its close partnerships with both the Badminton Association of Malaysia and the Football Association of Malaysia. The brand is also endorsed by an internationally renowned athlete, Dato’ Lee Chong Wei who is the Brand Ambassador for XOX Mobile.
According to XOX Bhd’s Group Managing Director, Datuk Eddie Chai, the partnership is strategic for the brand and rewards its subscriber base with access to world-class entertainment acts.
“The whole magical entertainment journey started when we sponsored Galaxy Group’s Eason Chan concert in Malaysia in February and co-organised for the additional third show to reward XOX subscribers. And from that moment, everything falls into places well,” said Datuk Eddie.
“XOX Mobile has found its beat in entertainment and we have a hit on our hands,” he quipped, explaining that the brand is selective on the entertainment acts that it works with and the concert management companies that it partners with in building XOX Mobile brand.
He also shared that XOX Mobile has achieved another milestone, reaching approximately 1.1 million subscribers recently.
