The new OM-D E-M5 Mark II Limited Edition model is painted with a unique titanium colour that pays homage to the classic OM-3Ti 35mm SLR film camera. Sold in a kit together with specially commissioned accessories, a small production of 7000 sets will be on sale globally from June 2015.
The OM-D E-M5 Mark II, launched in February 2015, is the latest model in the Olympus OM-D interchangeable lens camera series. The E-M5 series design within the OM-D ILC system is arguably the most reminiscent of classic “OM System” 35mm film cameras. This limited edition model pays homage to one of the last OM film cameras produced, the 1994 OM-3Ti, by adopting its titanium paint colour.
The complete limited edition set includes the OM-D E-M5 Mark II in titanium colour, a specially-crafted leather strap, and a leather card case containing an owner’s card that is numbered from 1 to 7,000.

Titanium colour reminiscent of the OM-3Ti
From the first OM System camera, the OM-1 of 1973, Olympus had pursued the concept of total system mobility, outstanding optical quality and superb reliability in the different OM camera series and Zuiko lenses. The OM-3, which went on sale in 1984, strongly represented those fundamental concepts. The titanium OM-3Ti introduced in 1994, one of the last OM cameras produced, symbolised these ideals. The homage to the this classic camera expresses a ‘new age’ in the OM-D series with the OM-D E-M5 Mark II design.
Complex colour research was carried out in order to recreate the unique titanium color of the OM-3Ti. The OM-D E-M5 Mark II Limited Edition embodies the spirit of the OM series, whilst carving out its own new legend.

The specially designed camera strap and matching card case feature high quality stitching and genuine leather, finely balancing colors that match the titanium colour body of the camera. These accessories are finished with the quality that befits a Limited Edition camera set.
An owner’s card numbered from 1 to 7,000 is also included in the set as proof of authenticity. An inspirational quote by Mr Yoshihisa Maitani, the designer of the legendary OM System will be printed on every card.
