Lenovo brings the boom with A7000 phone, from their entry level A series, dubbed the A7000 sports a 5.5-inch HD touchscreen up front and comes with a MediaTek MT6752m 1.5GHz True8Core processor and 2GB RAM, with 8GB of expandable storage while running Android Lollipop 5.0 under the hood overlaid with their Vibe UI. The phone comes with a rather hefty 2900mAh swappable battery rated for 16 hours of 3G use and about 264 hours of standby time though it weighs a reasonably light 140g and is 7.9mm thin with a removable polycarbonate backplate. Other mod-cons include 4G LTE connectivity, dual SIM card slots with the first slot support 3G and LTE and a rear 8-MP snapper with a Sony sourced CMOS sensor that can take 1080p video. The front comes with a 5-MP selfie snapper.

Where the A7000 stands out is its inclusion of Dolby Atmos tech for richer virtual surround sound when using headphones. An equaliser installed on the phone lets you tweak and optimise settings for music, gaming and other endeavours as you so desire. Fortunately, any brand of headphone will work with the A7000’s Dolby Atmos tech.DSC01984 (Medium)
