SHAH ALAM (15 September 2014) – This time of year, with Merdeka and Malaysia Day on our minds, patriotic Malaysians from all walks of life are taking the opportunity to profess love for our homeland. However, inspiration for knowing and loving this nation can come at any day of the year. In yesteryears, some have said, ‘to know Malaysia is to love Malaysia’ or ‘tak kenal maka tak cinta’, and today, it is now so easy to strengthen our love as technology has made it very convenient to get to know Malaysia in greater depth.

In the fifth edition of DiGi Telecommunications SdnBhd (DiGi)’s annual Challenge for Change (DiGiCFC) programme that concluded earlier this year, the Mini Malaysia app developed by Calvin Tam was announced as the winning application in the Discovering Culture category.
