Kuala Lumpur (3 April 2014) – It’s game time with the official launch of #YesToRio, a new online game contest by Yes, Malaysia’s largest 4G network in celebration of one of this year’s most anticipated football competitions. The nationwide online contest which runs from now until 31 May 2014 will send two grand prize winners on an all-expense paid trip to watch the final match of the biggest sporting event of 2014 live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
#YesToRio features a series of three fun web-based games, designed to have mass appeal amongst the Mlaaysians. The first game of the series is “What A Save!”, followed by “The Big Match” and “G-G-G-Goal!”, both of which will be released later in the contest perios. In all three games, players must try to score as many points as they can against the mean and cranky Bob the Referee.
For active Yes subsrcibers, they get to enjoy exclusive perks when they play #YesToRio games, including an immediate additional 10% bonus points for every round on top of their score points, and reload bonus points for each purchase of Yes Credit, Valuepack, Datapack, Campuspack and SuperBoosterTM.
Throughout the contest period, three top scorers of each game of the week will be rewarded with exclusive sports merchandise, including original jerseys autographed by some of the world’s best-loved football players, footballs and sports backpacks. By the end of the contest period, thirty top participants on the overall leader board with the highest accumulated scores from all three games will be invited to #YesToRio final event in June 2014 where they will battle it out for the two grand prizes.

During the launch at Lot 10 Shopping Centre, YTL Communications Executive Director Dato’ Yeoh Soo Keng, Cheif Executive Officer Wing K. Lee and Deputy Chief Executive Officer Jacob Yeoh were present to officiate #YesToRio.
