Samsung Printers For Enterprise

KUALA LUMPUR (10 April 2014) – An increasing trend has been seen as the Tenth Malaysia Plan reported SOHO entrepreneurs and small & medium enterprises (SMEs) made up 99.2%1 of businesses in Malaysia, contributing over 56.4%2 of total manpower nationwide.

With the increased functionality of smart devices and tablets, and corporations implementing BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) printing programmes, the ability to print from these devices is more crucial than ever. Recognising the rise of enterprise printing, Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn. Bhd. introduced the NFC (Near Field Communication)-enabled colour laser printer and multi-function printers (MFPs) Xpress C410W series that allow users print high quality photos and documents from their smart devices with ease.

The new printer Xpress C410W series consists of the C410W colour laser printer, the C460W colour laser MFPs with print, copy and scan functionality, and the C460FW colour laser MFPs with print, copy, scan and fax capabilities. These C410W series have been specifically designed with the home and small office user in mind who wants to print content from their smart devices. These three models are able to print up to 18 pages per minute (ppm) in black and white and four ppm in colour.

Mobile Printing Made Easy
Printing has never been easier. The Xpress C410W series connects wirelessly with mobile devices for fast, integrated and convenient printing on the go. Users can effortlessly and securely print pictures, documents, e-mails and web content by simply tapping their smart devices on the printer. Scanning and faxing documents is also made easy as users are able to sync the contacts on their smart devices with the printers.

With Samsung Mobile Print App users are now able to print everything from PDF files to Microsoft Office documents such as Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations directly from their smart devices.

Additionally, owners of Samsung’s GALAXY smartphones and Galaxy Tab series have the added benefit of being able to print images from the gallery app, documents, email and web browser pages.

Simple and Hassle-free
The process of setting up wireless printers often involves multiple steps, connecting printer and set up network key. However, with Samsung’s Xpress C410W series, installation is done in three quick steps without the need for a USB connection between the printer and computer.

Consumers can use the ‘One Touch Eco Button’ and ‘Easy Eco Driver’ to operate the printers in ‘eco’ mode and save up to 20% in overall costs. The ‘Easy Eco Driver’ was awarded with the ‘Outstanding Achievement in Innovation’ Award from Buyers Lab in 2012.

The new line-up also features the ‘Easy Printer Manager’ that helps home and small office users manage their software without the need for specialised IT managers. Users can monitor printer status, such as error messages, paper empty, toner empty and paper jam alerts.

Exquisite Colour and Design
Samsung’s unique Rendering Engine for Clean Page (ReCP) technology guarantees professional quality output with sharp text and clean images, and the polymerised toner makes for strikingly vivid and glossy colour printing.

Samsung’s new NFC-enabled colour laser printer and MFPs were awarded the prestigious iF Product Design Award 2013 for its ergonomic design and ease-of-use.

Enhance Printing Solutions Portfolio for Enterprise
Strengthening its position in enterprise printing, Samsung also introduced the MultiXpress series – the A3 multifunction printers that come fully loaded with features such as ergonomic design, compact size, advanced controls, unparalleled reliability, duplex printing and ease of operation. The new MultiXpress series comprises of three models: the CLX-C9251NA (A3 Colour MFPs), SCX-8128NA (A3 Mono MFPs) and K2200ND. These MultiXpress models also support copying and scanning.

Samsung has a comprehensive portfolio printing solutions spanning mono and colour printers, MFPs and copiers suited for home and enterprises usage, along with Samsung Mobile Print application. With the addition of the newly launched Xpress C410W series, Samsung Malaysia Electronics’s printing solution portfolio has 53 models across its printers, MFPs and copiers that are priced between RM220 to RM35,000.
