Kuala Lumpur (18 February 2014) As a market leader in advanced digital camera technology, FUJIFILM Malaysia is delighted to announce the commemorative X-T1, the latest interchangeable lens camera featuring the world’s fastest Real Time Viewfinder with a lag-time of 0.005 seconds1.

The X-T1 is the epitome of cameras, featuring an evolved SLR-style handling, mechanical dials for easy operability, and a weather-proof body alongside the other benefits of an X-Series camera such as high-speed performance. Additionally, the X-T1’s newly developed electronic viewfinder is almost on par with an optical viewfinder, thanks to its ultra-fast display speed.

Real time viewfinder revolution
Combining a unique wide-angle view, along with the world’s highest magnification at 0.77 times2, the X-T1’s electronic viewfinder provides a truly immersive shooting experience with a lag-time of just 0.005 seconds.

World’s fastest AF speed
The X-T1 uses both the EXP Processor II and X-Trans™ CMOS II sensor, expertly controlling false and moiré colour generation. The X-T1 will also be able to shoot up to eight frames per second3 with tracking AF and is the first-ever model to be compatible with SDXC UHS-II format memory cards, allowing the date writing speed to be about twice that of a conventional card.

Tough, weather-resistant design
With approximately 80 points of weather sealing, the camera body is dust and water-resistant, providing plenty of protection from dirt and moisture. The X-T1 is also able to withstand harsh weather conditions of up to -10⁰ C, and features a LCD tempered glass, allowing maximum outdoor protection.

Fujifilm is launching three weather-resistant zoom lenses to complement the X-T1 this year, with the XF18- 135mm launching in June. The other two lenses are XF16-55mmF2.8 R OIS WR and XF50-140mmF2.8 R OIS WR.

Intuitive operability and classic camera design
Continuing the tradition of unrivalled craftsmanship and design that puts the photographers first, the X-T1 features five mechanical dials on the top-plate, two command dials on the front and rear, and six fully customisable function buttons. Functions and settings can be checked at a glance without using the rear LCD and the dials are perfectly arranged so that functions can be changed without removing your eye from the viewfinder. The six customisable function buttons and two command-dials arranged on the front and rear complete the picture, reaching whatever setting is desired in an instant.
