Canon Launches 3 New PIXMA AIO
Kuala Lumpur (25 November 2013) Effectively meeting the needs of its consumers, Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Canon) has today officially launched three new printer models to add to its comprehensive range of PIXMA All-in-One (AIO) Home-Office Printers. With the release of the MG3570, MG2570 and MG2470, users can now look forward to high performance printing at pocket-friendly prices right from their homes.
Leading the line of new models is PIXMA MG3570, equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity that allows users to print from anywhere in their small office or homes within coverage. Its Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) one-touch key function makes it easy to integrate the printer into the home’s secure network. On top of that, the MG3570 also supports the Google® Cloud Print™ & Apple AirPrint™ application, making it extremely convenient for users to send their print jobs directly from their smart phones, tablets and laptops that have a ready Internet connection.
For the Trendy and Creative
The home-office printers have been purposefully fashioned to bring out the users’ personality and style, as evidenced in the bold and stunning shades of the MG3570 in white, red and black. Its FastFront design also provides ease and accessibility when replacing ink cartridges and refilling papers. Their sleek and highly compact design allows users to make the most of small or tight workspaces.
Compact and Efficient
In addition to their affordable prices, the MG2570 and MG2470 are ideal as personal document printers. The printers’ simple operation panel also enables hassle-free usage, while the scanner lid affords great flexibility. Both the MG2570 and MG2470 allow users to conveniently scan thicker documents.
Operating costs can be minimised as users have the option of using XL-sized ink cartridges for the PIXMA AIO printers. This not only enables users to print considerably more pages; it will also save them valuable time as the cartridges need not be changed as often.
Besides that, the Auto Power ON feature helps users manage energy costs better. The in-built feature switches the printer on automatically as soon as a print job is sent, and turns it off automatically when it has been left idle for a certain time. This useful technology also works over Wi-Fi and USB connections.
As with other PIXMA printers, all three new models also come with My Image Garden software application where users can create collages, calendars and even stationeries from photos stored on their devices. The various functions in the software allow users to explore and have fun in using different layouts and fonts that develop their creativity skills, and help them organise old photos. Furthermore, users also have access to the Creative Park Premium online solution to download even more exciting artwork, templates and craft designs to enhance their creations.
With the new Photo Paper Pro Premium Matte (PM-101) from Canon, users can generate highly stunning photos. Its rich texture, ultra-smooth matte surface and high-ISO brightness combined yields extremely rich and accurate colours, which are perfect for printing intricate artwork and paintings.
Using Canon’s Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) technology, these printers are equipped with microscopic nozzles that deliver tiny drops of ink, enabling the printer to generate ultra-high resolution images with incredible photo quality. It’s Hybrid Ink system also further enhances print quality by intelligently deploying different ink types to achieve the desired outcome.
The PIXMA AIO MG3570, MG2570 and MG2470 will be available at selected Canon authorised outlets and printers will be available at ultra affordable prices from RM189 onwards.
