Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (09 October, 2013) — ASUS today announced the launch of its ‘Give Your ASUS Gear Some Gold’ competition, inviting fans from around the world to demonstrate their creativity by surrounding ASUS gear with gold to win fantastic prizes.
From 9 October 2013 until 13 November 2013, contestants are encouraged to submit attractive photo compositions that feature an ASUS product in a setting that demonstrates a creative spin on ‘gold’ — the more extravagant the design the better.
Over the course of five weeks senior ASUS staff will judge all submissions and choose five winners based on the creativity and originality of contestants’ designs and an expression of fun. Each chosen winner will walk away with a brand-new ASUS Z87-Pro motherboard with NFC Express.
Get creative by giving your ASUS gear some gold
The ‘Give Your ASUS Gear Some Gold’ competition is simple to enter. Contestants need only to capture a photograph that includes one or more ASUS products in a setting that is dripping with gold. The image must then be uploaded to the competition website, at http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?38281-Give-Your-ASUS-Gear-Some-Gold-2nd-Wave-Competition.
The key rule is that participants demonstrate their creativity and love of ASUS gear. An ASUS VivoMouse draped in gold chains atop a gold-studded jewelry drawer? Or perhaps an ASUS graphics card inside a PC that’s illuminated by golden lights? The only limits are contestants’ imaginations and the need for an original composition.
Dates and details
The ‘Give Your ASUS Gear Some Gold’ contest will run over five weeks with one winner chosen after each week’s closing date. Closing dates are 16, 23 and 30 October and 6 and 13 November 2013. To be considered for each week’s judging process, an entry must before received before GMT 08:00 on these days. Entries received after the final closing date will not be considered.
After each closing date, ASUS judges will convene to review all entries and choose the winners. Winners will be announced on 21 and 28 October and 4, 11 and 18 November 2013.
