U Mobile Introduces the U Card
KUALA LUMPUR, 25 July 2013 – U Mobile Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s most dynamic and innovative 3G mobile operator, gives consumers more reasons to subscribe to its services by introducing U Card – the telco’s new rewards programme in partnership with BLoyalty Sdn Bhd, which runs the BCARD rewards programme.
Apart from enjoying high quality services at affordable rates, U Mobile customers will now enjoy a rewarding experience with the mobile operator as they are able to collect points whenever they purchase U Mobile products and make bill payments. In addition, they are also able to collect points at more than 70 BCARD merchant partners and redeem rewards and benefits in over 700 retail outlets nationwide.
This reward programme also positions the mobile operator as a pioneer in the industry as the company enables its customers to collect points to redeem discounts, rewards and merchandises, as opposed to only free talk time, free SMS and free data. The reward points collected allow customers to redeem not just U Mobile products but also merchandises from other 700 BCARD participating merchant partners’ outlets ranging from food and beverages, holiday packages, shopping and many more or redeem exclusive items online.
U Mobile is the FIRST 3G mobile operator in the nation to opt for a reward programme of such nature, giving consumers more reasons to switch to U Mobile. With no annual fee incurred, U Card holders will also have special discounts on selected U Mobile products, special privileges and be invited to exclusive members-only events.

This special promotion ends in December 2013.
To activate the U Card, customers need to register at u.com.my before they can earn U Card reward points. Customers will have the option to make either full redemption for the products or partial redemption which is a combination of points and cash payments. U Mobile existing customers can collect their U Card at any of U Mobile outlets.
